At McDonald’s Meats, we butcher beef and hogs every Tuesday by appointment. We offer custom and private label processing as well. We can also smoke your fish, pheasants, ducks, goose, grouse and turkeys, and we accept wild game for processing year-round.
All wild game must be tagged and registered.

Removing Antlers
If you would like to keep your antlers, please ask us for them when you drop your deer off, and we will get them immediately. Antlers not taken immediately are disposed of and cannot be retrieved.

Keep your meat clean!
As always, we like to remind hunters to follow safe food handling practices with your meat. We will not accept any wild game carcasses or trim that appears to be mishandled or unsanitary. DO NOT USE GARBAGE BAGS!
We reserve the right to dispose of any game that is spoiled-owner will be notified first.
All wild game must be tagged and registered. Trimmings must be clean and must have tag numbers.
Wild Game
Skinning & Receiving
We keep the deer hides as part of the processing, if you would like your hide back, there is an extra charge of $15.00 and you must notifyus AT THE TIME OF DROP OFF.
If you bring us a whole deer that has already been skinned, there will be a receiving charge.
Processing
Steaks, Chops, Roasts and Bagging Trim (Mininum processing charge including skinning)
All steaks, cops, roasts, burger and jerky are from your own deer, always.
Price includes cutting and wrapping of the fresh cuts. All of your steaks and chops are cut boneless. All cuts are wrapped in plastic, then paper for double protection in the freezer. Steaks, chops, roasts, grind and jerky are always from your own deer. Sausage and bacon are batched together with others. Separate sausage batches are available at an additional cost.

Wild Game Sausage, Snack Sticks and Bacon
All sausages, except sticks and summer are made ½ wild game, ½ pork. Summer sausage and sticks are 2/3 wild game, 1/3 pork. Prices on sausage, summer sausage, sticks, and bacon include pork added.
All prices listed are charged on the amount of sausage, summer sausage, sticks or bacon made, not the weight of the wild game or the finished weight. Sticks yield 75-80%. All other sausages yield 100%. Uncooked sausages are paper wrapped, all other sausage is vacuum packed.
